Vision
Sermon by Ps Mark
1. A vision begins as a concern.
2. A vision does not require immediate action
a) It may take time to develop.
b) It doesn’t happen right away.
c) Believe God for it.
3. Pray for opportunities and plan as if you expect God to answer your prayers
4. God is using circumstances to position and prepare you to accomplish His vision for Your life.
5. What God originates, He orchestrates.
a) He brings it to past.
b) Change with whatever situation God places You in.
c) Hang on to that vision.
7. Communicate your vision as the solution to a problem must be addressed immediately.
a) Feel the urgency.
b) If you are under leadership which undermines your vision, move out.
8. Cast your vision to the appropriate people at the appropriate time.
9. Don’t expect others to take greater risks or make greater sacrifices than you have.
a) You must pay a price for your vision.
b) A visionary has responsibility.
10. Don’t confuse your plans with God’s vision.
a) Plans like financial needs or budgets.
11. Visions are refined, they do not change. Plans are revised, they rarely stay the same.
a) Leave the past behind
b) Set your eyes on the price
c) Never mind what you left behind
12. Respond to criticism with prayer, remembrance, and if necessary, revision of plan.
13. Visions thrive in an environment of unity; they die in an environment of division.
14. Abandon the vision before you abandon your moral authority.
a) God shall supply all your needs and my needs.
b) Spiritual stuff are done in spiritual ways.
15. Don’t get distracted.
a) Lead, follow or get out of the way.
16. There is divine potential in all you envision to do.
a) God has placed that special vision in your heart.
17. The end of God ordained vision is God.
18. Maintaining your vision requires living your core values.
a) You must die for them.
b) Put your whole heart in it.
c) God is the focus.
19. Visions require constant attention.
a) Prepare yourself by reading the word of God.
20. Maintaining a vision requires bold leadership.
21. Build upon your rock.
