Mungu ni upendo.
God is love.
Tunapenda kwa sababu yeye alitupenda kwanza.
We love because He first loved us.
Kwa maana Mungu aliupenda ulimwengu kiasi cha kumtoa Mwanae pekee, ili kila mtu amwaminiye asipotee, bali awe na uzima wa milele.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
Hakuna mtu mwenye upendo unaozidi ule wa mtu anayejitoa afe kwa ajili ya rafiki zake.
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
Katika nyumba ya baba yangu mna nafasi nyingi. Kama sivyo, nisingeliwaambia kwamba nakwenda kuwaandalia makao.
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Naye alikufa kwa ajili ya watu wote ili wote wanaoishi, wasiishi tena kwa ajili yao wenyewe, bali kwa ajili yake yeye aliyekufa na kufufuka tena kwa ajili yao.

Kwa hiyo mtu akiwa ndani ya Kristo, amekuwa kiumbe kipya; ya kale yamepita, tazama, mapya yamekuja.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
