Crazy grace is misusing the grace of God for my own benefit; staying rebellious under the cover of religion; doing what I want to do; throw away half the Bible that doesn't please me; live in my pleasures; continuing in my sin and still say I'm a believer, and God loves me.
Your beliefs need to be hooked up with your life.
You don't need to be perfect or do a lot of things to get the approval of God. You already have the approval of God in Christ Jesus. It is living out the Jesus inside of you, that He will shine through you, so you will live the life that God expects us and will help us to live. So that we will conquer, we will live in victory, we will live in holiness, we will live differently, we will be more and more like Jesus in this world. This is walking in grace through faith and obedience.
Freedom is coming to your purpose of existence, tied into your Creator.
The stone that lies out in nature is wildly "free", but is lying there. But it's not free, cause it is just there, unless you take the stone and cut it to fit it into the wall to be part of the temple. When you are outside your existence, you have a meaningless/lonely type of existence because you are not put into something. Now the Lord will take the raw stone, good-for-nothing, lying around, full of dirt and He cuts it and moulds it and puts it into the wall, and now, the stone is free. This is what freedom is, to be put in to which you were purposed for.
We are accepted in Christ, and that gives us tremendous freedom. But that doesn't mean its not going to change, correct, dig into our lives, challenge us, admonish and sometimes, even rebuke us.
"For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness." Heb 10:12
Obedience is not hooked up with works or legalism. Obedience is joined together with faith. It is this obedience that will produce freedom, purity, and truth in your life. To walk in faith or a lifestyle of faith, you must be in obedience to God. This means that we cannot claim a lifestyle of just saying that we accept the grace of God, that we love God, and then fail to act in obedience to His Word. Only when faith is joined together with obedience, will holiness be manifested.
Lawlessness says, "I will twist the law of God, and make it into something that fits me. I will change things that God has said. I'll pervert it. I will create a sense of false freedom so that I can continue to be a lover of self, of money, of pleasure, and of the world. I will not abdicate. I will challenge God.
The spirit of lawlessness will preach grace so that it results in worldliness (false freedom) instead of holiness (true freedom). Legalism produces death and bondage, obedience produces freedom. It is not legalism that leads you to obedience, but the grace of God that brings you to obedience.
By giving up our false freedom, we will acquire true freedom.
"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age." Titus 2:11-12
God will give your power to do amazing things if you will change your life.
To put your own profile, your own experience, your own preference, and your own traditions above the Scriptures, especially about the Scriptures you don't like: Scriptures that deal with holiness; chastisement; growth; taking up the cross; self-denial; and you say, "nah, we don't need those, we just take Scriptures of love, blessings and grace." Then you can be operating out of a lawless spirit, that puts your own preference, your own experiences or your own prejudices over the whole counsel of God.
We don't cut away those things we don't like, because then, we make ourselves judges over Scriptures, and we come to a point that God will judge us. We need to understand grace, freedom, obedience, holiness, and the Scriptures.
"The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." Daniel 11:32
God is preparing us for endtime harvest, endtime fulfillment, endtime events and battles, and is not preparing us by cutting away everything that He has said for more than 2000 years, but to fill us with the whole counsel of God.
We do not change the gospel. The gospel changes us to become little Christs. Then we will keep the faith, run the race, fulfill our calling, and live not for ourselves but for Him, be His servants, preach the gospel, see miracles, signs and wonders, have break-throughs, and we will see entire nations changed under the power of the Almighty.
Jesus wants us to follow Him, and He wants to reveal the full truth to you. If you are not interested, He will not reveal it to you, because He is not CNN, He is not interested in just passing out infomation. He wants His people to follow Him, and wherever the Lamb goes, revelation will start to flow, and that revelation is not just knowledge. It is transforming knowledge that will change my character and my life. The Holy Spirit in you will start to deal with you, create in you the image of Christ, and He will make you holy and will set you apart. And that will be the strength in your life, and the magnet that draws people to God. Love will start flowing through you.
You will understand freedom, you will understand riches in Christ Jesus, and also what it means to be poor in spirit. You will understand the duo aspects of so many things in revelation, and you will be sound and balanced and strong.
