There is this beauty about people who are so in love with Jesus that makes you feel at home to be who you are with them. No need for pretense for there is a freedom to be accepted without being judged.
Forgive me, Lord, for I have judged.
Beauty invites people to open up. But when you judge, you put yourself a place higher than others(condescending) which is pride. When you judge, you loose the beauty of Jesus in you that people were attracted to.
Jesus didn't put himself on a higher level though He was a rabbi. He didn't try to reinforce his own sense of spiritual superiority, or proved himself. He was the most approachable person ever lived.
People knew they could come to Him no matter what state they are in, they knew Jesus would not condemn them. Jesus saw the life that was valuable to Father God.
And those who touched Jesus would never be the same again. The sinful woman was supposed to be stoned, yet Jesus saved her life. She had nothing, but Jesus gave her everything. When I had only ugly things to offer, He traded my shame for a destiny beyond what my mind can ever imagine.
It's like trading mud for gold.
It is a totally unfair exchange, yet Jesus did it. And because of that, the sinful woman did not care about the labels people stuck on her. She just wanted more of Jesus.
She just poured it all at His feet, her everything, despite the eyes that were on her. She spent it all, for Jesus had exchanged her nothing with everything.
You said nobody really cares.
My Jesus does. He really does. He loves you.
