For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work."
Jesus would wake up a great while before day and talk to His Father about what happened through out the day. He would tell His Father about each person He met, each miracle He performed, how he felt.
Then, Jesus would ask His Father about what He wants him to do today. And He waits for the Father to speak.
Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
The Father would tell Jesus who He wants him to touch and heal and where he must go, what He must say. He does those things which He sees the Father at work in. He would do nothing more, nothing less. For this reason He had come.
